A Message from Charles Drummond, CEO of AviusULD
June 2025 marks two years since the launch of AviusULD – and what an extraordinary two years it has been.
From pioneering smart container technology to embedding sustainability in everything we do, these past 24 months have been about much more than growth. They’ve been about transforming what’s possible in the ULD industry.
As we reflect on this journey, I want to thank our customers, partners, and team members around the world. Your trust and collaboration have been the driving force behind our momentum. Together, we’ve laid a new foundation for excellence in air cargo logistics – and we’re only just getting started.
Turning Innovation into Impact
Since relaunching in 2023, AviusULD has reached a series of important milestones – each one focused on delivering better outcomes for our customers and our industry:
1. Redefining ULD Performance
With our lightweight Endumax containers and collapsible AKE containers, customers benefit from lower fuel burn, fewer repairs, improved asset utilization and a longer product lifespan.
2. Expanding Our Digital Capabilities
Through the AviusULD SmartULD solution – including Fire Tags and real-time tracking devices – we are turning passive containers, pallets and accessories into intelligent assets. These tools help airlines prevent risk, optimize maintenance, and improve fleet utilization.
3. Strengthening Our Global Operations
From expanding automation with our laser cutting system to running successful Lean Six Sigma programs and partnering with the Kaizen Institute, we’ve made operational and commercial excellence a core pillar of our identity. And with ISO certifications and new executive leadership, we’re better equipped than ever to deliver quality at scale.
4. Building a Values-Driven Culture
We’ve celebrated team spirit through events like Sports Day, Safety Day, and our Thai New Year and Women’s Day celebrations. Nearly 50% of our workforce is women – and our commitment to diversity and safety has helped create a workplace where people grow, thrive, and lead.
5. Advancing ESG in Air Cargo
From joining the UN Global Compact, performing detailed carbon footprint assessemnt of facilities and products to receiving our first EcoVadis rating and signing the ULD Climate Impact Label initiative, we are taking action to help the aviation industry meet its ESG goals.

We’re investing in lifecycle analysis and customer-specific carbon reporting to help airlines understand and reduce their environmental impact.
